This site specific participatory piece inspired by Archée (2021), was created in 30 hours’rehearsal at the Museum of Fine Arts of Lille, for the International Women’s Rights Day. Mylène Benoit invited 12 residents, aged 18 to 80 years old, to join the songs and dances of this creation, and to invent rituals to reclaim feminine acts and powers. This piece sings a song for women, for those who, since the dawn of time have passed on, known, shared, cared for, given life and protection.
